Intro to Mental Health First Aid

Starting in January, Walgreen pharmacists will be given instructions by their company to complete a 4 hour online program entitled, Introduction to Mental Health First Aid for the Pharmacy. 

• Log into www.pharmacist.com using the account you completed the APhA Immunization training. If you do not know what your account is or if you have multiple accounts, APhA's customer service team can help.
• Once logged in, click through Continuing Education, My Training, and enter the enrollment code - if it is misplaced, please contact ________ at Walgreens. APhA is unable to provide this code.
• Once you enter the enrollment code, you can click Go and start, or you can click Close. Returning to the course - When you want to return, log back into www.pharmacist.com and go to Continuing Education, My Training, and scroll down to Enrollments.
• This online course is approximately 4 hours long, but does NOT need to be done all in one sitting. When you click back into the program and the link of the activity, there will be a screen asking to Resume (if you choose to restart, APhA cannot reset it back to where you were). This activity has active learning exercises throughout the 5 modules.
• There is a short assessment which you will have only 2 opportunities to pass. If you have exhausted your 2 opportunities, you will have to get another enrollment from your Walgreen Coordinator in order to complete this course. This will mean that you will need to complete the 4 hour online activity again.
• You will have to complete all the activities in order to get to claim your credit and print your certificate.
  • NOTE:  The first activity must be fully completed for it to receive a check mark. All questions must be answered.
