Request for a Faculty Training Letter
Context
If someone asks for a certificate for a faculty training, they have taken, it would have been a letter of completion. Depending on how long ago they took the faculty training, they may not have received a letter of completion at all.
Starting approximately in 2014, those who completed a faculty training program, would have been able to print out their letter from the online course once they attended. Unfortunately, many attended the course, but never actually completed the online portion. This means they would have not printed out their letter.
Since around 2020, those who have completed the course, were added as a Trainer relationship under their APhA account.
How to Handle
- If learner completed prior to 02/10/2022 (on former learning platform)
Look the individual in Personify - either in approved transcripts or under Relationships
If it is one place and not the other that is fine.
Search for FT_LTR under Course Management in the LMS (Docebo) and open the appropriate course. Then do the following in this order:
- Enroll individual
- Using the ellipsis at the far right of their name, select Edit enrollment, and enter the completion date that matches what was found in the approved transcript and/or the Relationships above.
- Mark the Enrollment Status as Completed
- Verify by logging in as the learner under Learner Management and print certificate - it should have the original date of completion.
- Send instructions to customer to log into https://learn.pharmacist.com/learn and open the course and print.
- If learner completed since February 10, 2022, they are able to print out their letter from their My Activities, Courses
- If the FT_LTR course does not fit for the course they are asking - contact the APhA education staff member point of contact, so that it can be created if appropriate
- If the completion cannot be found, ask the customer for more information
- Approximately when they took it
- What organization were they teaching for at the time
- What city/state did they attend the program
- What is the reason for the request of the letter
- If one can still not find the information, forward to appropriate APhA staff member
