New Practitioner Mission and Goals

APhA NPN Mission Statement (New Practitioners)

The mission of the APhA New Practitioner Network (NPN) is to support the transition from student to pharmacist by helping new graduates discover opportunities in APhA, develop themselves and their professional network, and empower them with the knowledge and skills necessary to define the future of their profession.

APhA NPN Goals

The APhA NPN provides programs, products , leadership opportunities, and services to assist in making this transition and with career development. Reduced APhA dues are provided the first three years after graduation. New Practitioner designation is for a pharmacist in the ir first 5 years after graduation, regardless of practice setting. 

Goal 1: Establish APhA New Practitioner Network as a resource for professional and personal development of all new practitioners.

Goal 2: Promote membership opportunities and encourage active membership of all APhA new practitioners. 

Goal 3: Align APhA NPN leadership priority goals, objectives, tactics, and action steps to the strategic plan priorities of the Association.
